BONAIRE, Netherlands Antilles
Over the last two decades, Bonaire has consistently ranked as the finest snorkeling and scuba diving destinations in the Caribbean.  A major reason for this prominence isthe island's diligent stewardship of its marine resources.  All of the waters off Bonaire have been legally protected since 1979...and it shows!  But there is plenty more to do.  The unusually steady tradewinds that wash over the island create ideal conditions for world class windsurfing and the shere beauty of the semi-desert landscape is home to an outlandish assortment of wildlife, including iguanas and pink flamingos.

gay friendly saba
Saba, Netherlands Antilles
Known as the “Unspoiled Queen”, Saba has a fairytale like quality; the sense of being in a place that time has graciously left unchanged, Saba is that secret island which many dream of but few are fortunate to find. With no franchised resorts, casinos, or shopping malls, it’s a very different face of the Caribbean. Saba is not only gay friendly to its tourists, but has a considerable local gay and lesbian community as well.  Unlike some Caribbean destinations, the gay friendly attitude is not a recent marketing ploy, it is just the way it is!

gay friendly statia
St Eustatius (Statia), Netherlands Antilles
St. Eustatius (Statia) is a small island located 33 miles south west of the coast of St. Maarten in the Caribbean Sea. On the island you find the famous Quill, which is an extinct volcano.  Another favorite pastime is searching for the famous Blue Beads.  These are small blue glass beads that were used for trading.  As a matter of fact, Peter Stuyvesant bought Manhattan with 13 of these beads from the Indians!  Look close, they can found along the shoreline!
